Climate Smart St. James just received a $2,500 grant from Great River Energy for pollinator plantings!! Thank you, Great River Energy!!

Also, thanks to Jim Haler of South Central Electric of St. James for applying for the grant on our behalf!!

Congratulations to the City of St. James for installing it's first ever electric vehicle charger in the downtown park!! Ribbon cutting was on April 25, 2024 as part of Climate Smart week. It has 2 charging ports, and projected operational date of May 21, 2024!!

Our Latest Project

We are excited to announce our latest project: Pollinator strip plantings on our 3 retaining ponds in St. James, MN. We have started on the first one and plan to plant it spring of 2024.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the events of Climate Smart Week!! We hope to plant our pollinator strip in late May. Watch for further information!!
